Dr. Stephan Grabbe

Dr. Grabbe is Director of the Department of Dermatology at University Medical Center Mainz, a position he has held since 2007, and is a dermatologist and dermato-oncologist specializing in immunotherapy and translational oncology. He serves as an advisor on HBI-8000. He received his doctoral degree in human medicine from the University of Münster and completed board certification in dermatology, allergology and phlebology in Germany. Dr. Grabbe conducted postdoctoral research at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard University and subsequently held a Heisenberg Scholarship and Visiting Scientist position at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard University. He has previously served as Professor of Dermatology and Dermato-Oncology at the University of Münster and Director of the Department of Dermatology at University Hospital Essen. He is also Co-Director of the Research Center for Immunotherapy at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and holds leadership roles across several university and cancer research initiatives.
